Explosion suppression is not only gaining in importance because of its reliability, it also guarantees the availability of facilities, even after an explosion. That may sound unbelievable. But the rising explosive pressure is identified within milliseconds and an extinguishing system that reduces the effects of the explosion to a defined minimum is activated. That means that employees, facilities and the environment are effectively protected. Additionally, ATEX explosion suppression features a high level of work place safety
Gas generators activate the suppression bottles in the event of an explosion. A specially developed, reusable leaf valve ensures that the bottles are opened quickly. The extinguishing powder is suddenly introduced into the developing explosion cloud, acting specifically on the explosion flame. The flames are prevented from spreading. Once having been triggered, the valve can easily be replaced, allowing the entire system to be activated again within a very short time. This avoids long shutdown time for your plant.
A big advantage is the use of water that is kept hot in the suppression bottles. If triggered, your products only come into contact with water. This technology is therefore most suitable for use in the food production oriented industry, particularly for drying milk in spray towers. The fast activation or opening of the suppression bottle is achieved through gas generators and a special, reusable leaf valve. This can easily be exchanged after triggering. The entire system is therefore fully ready for operation again in a very short time, and your plant can soon start operating again.
Both our active and passive decoupling systems and components fit neatly into your processes, reliably isolating the parts of your facility. Depending on the component, it can be immediately redeployed after being triggered without any repair downtime or costs.
The explosion protection valve prevents the dust explosion from expanding beyond the place where it is fitted. The valve acts as a flame barrier at the same time. In the event of an explosion, the valve detects the event through the kinetic energy preceding the pressure wave, and closes of the affected area. It is primarily used in clean air situations.
The quick closing valve is part of an active explosion isolation system. In the event of ignition, it is activated by solenoid valves. Air flows out of a compressed air reservoir into the drive cylinder, closing the slide valve within milliseconds. Both the flames and the spread of pressure are effectively stopped. After having been triggered, the slide valve can be reactivated without needing a repair, and because of its non-destructive operation it can be validated at any time.
Pressure-venting equipment limits explosive pressure by venting excess pressure and the flame front in a targeted and precisely defined manner. It is often described as the simplest form of explosion protection. A venting panel involves low investment costs and simple handling.
Venting explosions by means of ATEX Explosion Vent Panels / Bursting discs guarantees controlled discharge of the explosion to the outside, whilst at the same time reducing pressure to a non-hazardous level.

It monitors the processed air if there is a presence of volatile pyrolysis components, then it immediately register these indications of thermal decomposition or of smoulder spot development into the system. The system is efficient enough to even detect a difference of 1 ppm. Self-ignition processes are detected as soon as they are in the early stages if initiation and can be stopped effectively.
